Weekend Docents Needed!
If you are just looking for something to fill some empty hours on weekends, please consider volunteering as a weekend tour guide and/or gift shop docent. The application form is a fillable PDF, found below. Just fill it out, print it, or save it to your computer with your name as the file name. Printed forms, please mail to Selfridge Military Air Museum, 27333 C Street, Selfridge ANG Base, Michigan 48045. Digital copies of the completed applications: email them to info@selfridgeairmuseum.org.
The Selfridge Military Air Museum is always looking for a few ‘well-qualified, dependable, and dedicated volunteers’. Our volunteers traditionally meet here at the Museum on Tuesdays and Fridays for behind the scene work and on the weekends during the open season as a museum docent and/or a gift shop docent working with the public.
The Volunteer Team has a wide spectrum of interests: from aircraft maintenance, setting up & maintaining museum displays, maintaining the grounds and gardens, maintaining the display artifacts collection, to weekend volunteering as a museum and/or gift shop docent.
MAGHA Members, we NEED you! Sign up to volunteer as a weekend tour guide or gift shop docent during our Open Season for 2025, April – October. We need you!

Volunteer Newsletter: “High Flight”
High Flight is now combined with the membership newsletter. If you are a volunteer, but not a MAGHA member, you are emailed a copy of the newsletter, or you may receive a black-and-white edition via USPS. Please consider becoming a member of the Michigan Air Guard Historical Association (MAGHA).
