WIESEL I MK/TOW WEAPON CARRIER

The Wiesel I MK/TOW weapon carrier is an air transportation light-armored, front-driven track vehicle manufactured by Rheinmetall Landsysteme in Germany. Its armor provides protection against infantry weapons and fragmentation of artillery ammunition. In its MK configuration, it is armed with an automatic cannon mounted on the hull deck on a ring-type mount. In its TOW configuration, it is armed with six protected anti-tank guided missiles and a seventh mounted outside at the rear. This Wiesel I was used for evaluation by the US Army.
