This vehicle saw service with all branches of the military and served until the mid-80s when they were replaced by the HUMVEE. The vehicle has a low silhouette, is powered by a 71 horsepower 4-cylinder engine, and has 4-wheel drive and an independent coil spring front and rear suspension to give it excellent off-road performance.
